Aiding AIDS Broken souls amidst a competitive society, perhaps it wasn’t even their fault! AIDS a diseases once feared and dreaded amongst the literate lot of our fast growing world still creates an awakening. Technologies may have changed, life styles may have improved but how many of us have really taken time out to think of, maybe, a special case AIDS patient we have known ? With just the basic knowledge that it is an Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome and mostly not contagious unless you are in close touch with blood fluids of the infected person , I really did not give a thought to the thousands who are suffering of it and   how , due to the lack of understanding from people that surround them, their world closes down to emptiness. Reading inspiring quotes and life stories   on the internet, I recollect   a case where a woman stands by her husband’s death bed, a man dying at a very young age of 32 years only, later to be told that he was dying of AIDS. The Farmer who taught me a lesson As we drove along the quite road that lead us to the borders of Goa-Maharashtra, it was wonderful feeling, a much needed break from work , couple of my close friends , it was going to be a adventurous weekend. Clueless about directions or where we were going to stay , it was a journey into the unknown. As we passed a village, we were amused at a bullock cart lying at the side of the road. We stopped a while to pose and click a few photographs against it, a bullock cart is indeed a rare sight to be seen today, being a girl who always loved the village life, and this indeed was a very good treat for me. The poor farmer who was busy with his cows, stopped a while to inquire who we were and where we were heading.
