True meaning of Christmas

Christmas is very close , it’s a time of great joy for all the Christians around the world cause it’s that time of the year, where God the father sent his only son to this earth. It’s the birth of our redeemer.

Has I think back of all the Christmas’s that I have had these years, it has somehow now made me realize how I wasted my time on fruitless things, Christmas sweets, Decoration, shopping etc. All these materialistic wealth were so time consuming, tiring and sometimes so frustrating. It would all lead to fights, anger and disappointment. Is this what Christmas is really all about ??

Nah ! it much more then all these silly things which stand has temptation to distract us from the actually meaning of it, the birth of a King, God the son who humbled himself to be born has a human to carry the load of our sins on his back. Its a shame that instead of preparing our hearts and soul to receive baby Jesus, we waste it on entertaining the whims and fancies of our mortal body.

My decision this Christmas is to stop wasting my time on fruitless things instead prepare myself to have the perfect X’mas with Christ in my heart, how will yours be this year ???

As I looked up at the Wordweb software running on my computer and searched for the meaning of “Faith”, it showed me a couple of meanings, however the following caught my eye, it states “complete confidence in a person or plan”. Whats special about this pic !.. Read on… It’s one of those days when I visited the Panjim market to meet the tailor. It was just an adjustment and it wouldn’t take too long. Considering the big line of eagerly waiting tailors to make a quick morning buck, I decided to go with this sweet looking muslim whose burka obviously indicated the religion. I gave instruction on what I needed and observed her as she did the rest. My observation led to an interesting insight which perhaps would have been ignored if I was in a rush. In her shop, there sat another lady busy stitching a bright yellow kurta. She was a hindu. And there I was , a Catholic, as their customer. All 3 religion under one roof !! . These ladies worked in such harmony. If a simple trade can bring two religion together, in such peace, where both are benefiting  from the trade why can’t the other things, the so called “bigger issues” in our own country and around the world ??

Positive Vibes

Positive Vibrations Just imagine yourself seating in a room and in enters two person's, first one is standing tall, shoulders straight, head high, looks at you and gives you a pleasant smile as if to say “hope you doing fine“, the second, a hunch back, very tensed face, looking towards the floor as if there is some puck on it, leaving you totally uncomfortable, which one would you turn to for help or perhaps for directions to the nearest post office.
